I like how you have used different colors here to denote hierarchy. This makes an interesting compare-contrast visual. How was your experience in using Kidspiration or Inspiration to make this map?
I used Kidspiration as I have used Inspiration before and I wanted to become more comfortable with using Kidspiration, the program my students will most likely be using. I really truly enjoyed how simple it was to use. The program was kid-friendly, and I truly believe that my students, first and second graders would be able to use this program to create their own graphic organizers - especially during reading groups to help with comprehension strategies. Anytime they can use the computers is exciting so I definitely am going to introduce kidspiration to them.
